This is CULT, one the most relevant and updated online publication about young photography, has just launched a new mini-page called 'curated by cult' and asked me to edit the first instalment of this feature. I'm very happy/proud to have been able to be part of it. It looks like THIS.
PS. The whole page is powered by salon.io - new content management system, that has all good possibilities to become BIG.

Been a while after it has bee hacked but my newww.piotrniepsuj.com is finally back online now. Well, actually it's not really a page, it's rather an experiment, or better: a cover for my facebook.com/piotrniepsujimages. Yes , i know it's on facebook (sic!) but apparently people spend there most of their time when on the internet (me too...) so why not? We will see how it works. And I will try using it as a page/blog/diary/moodboard so like it to be updated about what's new
For now among other stuff, you can find there more recent photos from: - journey to Barcelona for Sonar Festival (for pigmag.com), - day I spent with a Eleonora Carisi of JouJou Villeroy in Milan (for NOWNESS), - couple-hour visit in studio of Toilet Paper, - daily report from backsteges of Milan Fashion Week (for Dazed Digital / AnOthermag. com) in addition to some new portraits (and more is coming soon)

Yesss, over a year after vol.1, my new unmixtape is finally out! And you know what? This tape was ready after one afternoon (don't ask me what I've been doing before). Recently I simply had plenty of time to check and listen to the new music and I've realized that almost all tracks which are ranked high in my iTunes library have kind of similar, gloomy vibe. Of course not every and each track is like this, there are some happy summer songs too, and in general this tape is much varied then the previous one. Actually there is everything from mainstream to underground (does it still sti exist in 2012?), from very traditional stuff to experimental tracks, from depressing compostions to happy moments, from west coast to east coast, from classic soul to new school rap (do music geners still exist in 2012?) To cut the story shortest, it's a set of black-oriented and hipster-friendly (is it still something negative in 2012?) music, that I've enjoyed recently.

What you see above is a place in Warsaw called Barka and it is where you can find me on 18.08.2012, while I will be putting on some music (together with some friends and not-yet-friends). Get ready for some ladies oriented music (strictly 128kbs) in just fade-in/fade-out (no)mix. Come by to say hello and celebrate summer in your shorts. RSVP here.

My man Simon, who co-founded PIG Magazine and SUPER Sunglasses (along with his brother Daniel) is officialy out with his new Project (capital P!). Garage, an iPhone app for selling/buying stuff directly from your mobile, went worldwide this week. (Congrats!) Yes, basically it's an ebay, but in 2.0 version, where everything is easier.
What you do is you take some photos of the thing you want to sell, add price, description, some hashtags (yeah no pain-in-the-ass categories) and you're good. In this exact moment all the people/friends, who follow you, know what's new from you, they can comment it, like it, ask you questions, negotiate price, or even chat with you and eventually buy. Since your photos are geolocalized, you might discover that the buyer lives in your hood, and then... well I used to watch way to many romantic movies.
Anyways, everything works very smoth/fast/easy and it's fun, so go to your (local;) app store, occupy your free space in this Garage and get rid of al the un-wanted stuff stuck in your house.
PS. For more serious info read this article on coolhunting or like Garage on facebook

'Niewidzialna Nerka' ('The Invisible Kidney' ;) is a tribute compilation to pioneers of Polish hip-hop brought together by S1 Warsaw (and friends from diggin.pl). It includes two CDs of new versions of old classic, with which I grew up / to which I was nodding my head 8, 10, 12, or even 15 years ago (wow, it has been a while!). That's why it is a real honor for me to find my pictures on the cover! These are all my archive photos i took between 2010 and 2012, beautifully art-directed by David Błażewicz. Big up for everyone involved for such a great job!
PS. You can order it here.

I had a pleasure to meet and shoot Mr. Joseph Grima of 'Domus' (one of the oldest and most important architecture-oriented magazines around) for Italian 'Studio'. Interview by Federico Sarica.

PS. Sorry, my copy got pretty consumed.

In the end of the las year I went to Rennes for the 33rd edition for Transmusciales Festival to shoot this story for the French magazine 'Modzik' (music + fashion :). We shot Kim Novak, Breton, Epic Rain, Evening Hymns, Ghostpoet, Juveniles and Shiko Shiko (all styled by Mari David) and tt was real fun. Just shame we didn't manage to get Shabazz Palaces in the booth.

Ps. Thanks Jeanne.
